Panelists discuss ideal ways to
develop and manage a project


CoreNet Global Long Island and the Long Island chapters of IFMA and the U.S. Green Building
Council hosted a joint event titled “Find It, Design It, Build It, Manage It.” The program outlined
the benefits of having the various contributors of a building project work together at all phases
of design, development and management.  Panelists were, from left, David Pennetta,
Executive Director, Cushman & Wakefield; Gabe Szriftgiser, Managing Partner, KiSP;
Alec Zaballero, Managing Executive, TPG Architecture; and Philip Griesch, Senior Director
of Facility Operations, Altice USA. Richard Neuman, Vice President, JLL, served as moderator.


Experts share their visions
at Economic Forecast Breakfast

Shital Patel,
Associate Economist, New York State
Department of Labor, and Ken McCarthy, Principal Economist and
Principal Economist, Americas Head of Applied Research,
Cushman & Wakefield, presented their annual forecasts for the labor market,
real estate market, and overall economy on Long Island and the region
for 2018. The two presented at the chapter’s Jan.18 Economic
Forecast Breakfast in Plainview.


Chapter presents $15,000 to Make-A-Wish

CoreNet Global Long Island board members presented Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York

with a $15,000 check – proceeds from the 2017 chapter golf outing. Make-A-Wish in turn presented the

chapter with artwork honoring the chapter’s relationship with the organization. From left,
